Vintage 1975 simulated ruby signet ring set in 9ct yellow gold. A signet ring is traditionally worn on the pinky finger although thing ring looks excellent on any finger. The ring is very conformable to wear, the central stone is a simulated cabochon ruby which means it is made to mimic their visual appearance.

 

The ring has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in London, England set in 9ct yellow gold. The piece has a makers mark of FM in a heart.

 

Ruby is the birthstone of July, it symbolises nobility and beauty.
